FMS Jacksonville Lunch Bunch

Hey Guys,

 

I know this is a late time to let everyone know about our next Lunch gathering. Our next Jacksonville Lunch Bunch will be on Saturday November 2, 2013 at the Golden Corral at 4250 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida. Time 11:00 AM. Hope to see all there.  Some will go a little earlier to eat breakfast so that will be ok.  Some wives will be there.  They can help Rose plan our Christmas party for December.

 

There will be a few that are going to the FLORIDA Ga game after the lunch.  Go GATORS

 

Those that missed the Reunion will now have to wait another two years.  It was great seeing those that I have not seen for some time. 

 

Look forward to seeing everyone this coming Sat.

Hey guys,

 

Just a note to let you know what you can have at the Airport Restaurant & Gin Mill.  This Restaurant has been there for some time.  Jim Turner, Dennis Eire, and Thorthon Ridinger eat there on the meeting days.  They say it is really good.

It's going to be great to go back to the past in a couple weeks.  See you on the 19th of October, remember those that want to car pool let me know.  Leaving at 9:30 AM.

 

Brownie Ramsey is going to have some surgery on the 21st and will not be able to attend and sends his regards.  Stew Robinson will not be there either as he has to get things ready for his wife's second hip surgery on the 21st also.  He did say he is planning on being with us at the next reunion and having lunch with the Jacksonville Lunch Bunch in the future.  Or is it Back to the Future???????

FMS Jacksonville Lunch Bunch

Fellow Cadets and Friends:

 

It's that time of year again and we are having an annual meeting in DeLand, Florida on Saturday October 19, 2013 at Steve Nash Hanger at the DeLand airport.

 

We will CAR POOL to DeLand and if you want to meet with us we would love to have you.  Meeting at the Avenues Mall on the South end of the parking lot by Bucco's   We will leave at 9:30 AM so be there.  You know how important our LUNCH is. 

 

The Jacksonville Lunch Bunch is going to eat at a different restaurant which is close to the airport.  We will still have plenty of time to socialize with the rest before the meeting.  It is due to the slow service we have been getting.  I hope everyone will enjoy the new place and join us.  The following is the information on the fine dinning at a reasonable price.

 

We will be meeting at 11:00 AM so see you there.  Should be through by about 12:00 PM.

The name of the restaurant is the Airport Restaurant and Gin Mill. It is located on the flight line at the airport. When you enter from Rte 92 where the FMS gates are, go to the stop sign where you would normally turn right to go to Skydive DeLand. Turn left instead and go down about a half-mile to a major intersection. Looking over to the right you will see across the field the airport flight deck and the restaurant. Their address is 1120 Flight Line Blvd and their telephone # is (386) 734-9755. Their cheeseburgers are particularly good.
